Accessibility

Designed for clear, direct access.

This website aims toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is a design target, not a formal conformance claim.

Accessibility target

Perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust content across current desktop and mobile layouts.

Measures Motion and theme Forms Limitations Feedback

Measures included

  • Semantic headings, landmarks, navigation labels, and form controls.
  • A keyboard-visible skip link and high-contrast focus indication.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and labeled controls.
  • Responsive reflow for narrow screens without intended horizontal scrolling.
  • Color tokens tested in both dark and light themes.
  • An enhanced Fitment Protocol tab interface with arrow-key, Home, and End navigation.

Motion and theme preferences

The site respects the browser's reduced-motion preference. Panel transitions, image movement, smooth scrolling, the scan line, and the progress indicator are removed or simplified when reduced motion is requested. Required content never depends on a reveal animation.

The theme control switches between dark and light appearances. Its local preference can remain on the device without storing booking details.

Form behavior

Every field has a visible label. Required-field errors are shown beside the field, announced through normal form semantics, and focus moves to the first invalid control.

The preview, send, edit, error-recovery, and success states can be reached using a keyboard. Values are transmitted only after the visitor chooses “Send request.” Status changes are announced without moving focus unexpectedly, and a JavaScript-disabled submission receives a separate confirmation or recovery page.

Known limitations

The logo is an image that contains its own lettering, so equivalent text is supplied through its alternative text. Licensed workshop photography is illustrative and does not document a specific completed repair.

Automated testing cannot establish complete accessibility. Keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, reflow, contrast, and real-device review should continue as the site evolves.
